Skeleton Roundup

Hello and welcome to Day 27 of Countdown to Halloween.  Today's offering is a skeleton roundup of some offbeat items from around the web.

Butterfly Skeletons from Dollar Store Items

Skelton Themed Guitar

Mini Skeleton Sings the "Twist"

Beagle Bones Decoration
$27.99 at Kroger

Dead Meat Tray

Dog Painted with Non-Toxic Pet-Safe Paint to look like a  Skeleton

Skeleton Chandelier
Think this item is beyond gothic and more on the ghoulish end - is a little too "Hannibal Lecter" but would be great for a Hauted House.

Macaroon Skeleton

Usually when I think of macaroons, it is something that is bright and cheery, but these creation takes a creepier path.

Do you have an offbeat skeleton item to share?  If so, please leave the link the comments.

Thank you for stopping by and be sure to check out the other participants in the year's Countdown to Halloween at the link below.

Skeleton Typograph

The above Skeleton was composed using 676 free and fused glyphs by Aaron Kuehn
not only a work of art, it is also a medical teaching tool as it indicates the body part in Latin.

It is available for download here for $5 via Paypal and print off and would make a great inexpensive gift (just buy a frame for it from the Dollar Store) for someone wanting to be or in the healthcare profession or a Halloween lover.

Also, if you want something nicer, you can pre-order the 5th Edition 15″ x 22″print with silver ink on black, hand printed, numbered, and signed for $49.

Disclaimer:  I have no affiliation with Aaron Kuehn, TheMetapicture.com and have received nothing for this post - I just think it is cool:)
