Charlie Murphy's True Hollywood Stores: Prince

Charlie Murphy is the brother of Eddie Murphy and was a comedian on the Dave Chappelle Show and one of the skits was Charlie Murphy'sTrue Hollywood Stores of the time he and his brother met Prince and hung out with him.

Dave Chappelle give a dead-on imitation of Prince in the skit and Prince liked it so much he used a picture of Chappelle as Prince on his single "Breakfast Can Wait".

In the radio interview below, Prince confirms the skit was a true story.



Although Prince in humble in the interview and says he wasn't that good; it was just Murphy was that bad at basketball, despite his short stature, Prince was a good basketball player when he was in school and had the drive even then not to settle for being second best.
