DIY Steampunk Switch Plate

  The above, like many of the projects at The Steampunk Workshop are a bit old world glam mixed with artistic vision with a lot of mad scientist thrown in.
      Could you guess that the cool light switch plate cover was made using a brass light switch plate from the Home Depot, some old gears, automotive solder, a blow torch, and a buffer then soaked in ammonia to give it an aged appearance?  To see the process (and maybe consider trying your hand at making one if you have the tools on hand) click here
