Thankfully we have not received enough snow where I live to try this out, but as other areas are getting heavy snowfall, thought I would post this snow "life hack".

As winter is in full swing where I live, I thought I would share this infograph I spotted over at Lifehacker where changing the way you walk outdoors in winter to prevent falling.

I only have done this in the past when it is really icy because it takes longer to get anywhere and I know I look like a dork.  In college when walking to class on particularly frosty, slippery day, a mean jerk made a comment that I walked like duck (perhaps because I have more junk in my trunk that a penguin).  Even so, it sure beats falling down and getting injured.
