Gaultier is usually off-beat with a futuristic edge and these En Pointe Accessories at Jean Paul Gaultier are no exception and have been donned by the likes of Lady GaGa. While they do have a certain edge and elegance to them, you can tell for sure a man that never has to wear high-heels himself. The design looks like it would not only be awkward, but down right uncomfortable to wear.
While they may pack a visual punch of interesting, I would leave wearing this type of shoes to celebrities that wear their briefly as a conversation piece for the tabloids. I would hope that this inspires someone to design a heeled version as the shoe itself with just the ribbon looks is an interesting touch without going over to top.
