The "Everything" Play Table - a fabulous low cost DIY present for a child!

This "Everything Table"  was created by Craftser user leighi123 (and the winner of the Handmade Holiday Gifts for Kids 2 challenge) that she crafted for her 4 year old son for Christmas using an old shoe rack, wood and felt and integrating a few other items and toys.

Not only could this be made at a minimal cost, it also takes up minimal space (see last picture).

I love cool nail designs, but not willing to pay a fortune to have them, but with this DIY Tutorial  by Carly at Chic Steals  you can craft these just using nail polish and color dot labels to keep the lines even.

Lady GaGa always pushes the limits of fashion, but some trends are making it to the mainstream.   You can now buy contact lens (prescription required in the U.S.) to make your pupils larger.

Lorain Blanken at About: DIY Fashion purchase a pair of "Seashell Cosmo", which is a green lens from
Pinky Paradise , a company in Asia, without a prescription for $27.90, including shipping.

She did a complete review with pictures here
and advised that they were comfortable and looked realistic and the only downside was the large hole for the pupil meant you would not be able to change colors completely and still look realistic - you would need to pick a color closest to your own.
