Happy Anti-Valentines Day Wallpaper
I guess this would be what an Almond Joy candy bar is to a Mounds candy bar.
It was refreshing to find this anti-love Wallpaper that Flickr user Kelly Machande created and posted as part of Iron Craft challenge "Hearts" because for some of us, Valentine's Day makes us feel like the Grinch at Christmas.
If you have recently gone through a breakup it is all the more depressing to have those visual happy pink and red images forced upon you when all you are trying to do is get through a checkout lane at the grocery.
Then there are people who are contently single that enjoy their freedom and while it would be nice to find the right person, being single is preferable for right now for whatever reason. At least it leaves the possibly open for some point in the future that the Harlequin romance novel may come true if that is what your heart desires.
If you are newly in love with then Valentines Day is a day to show your sweetie how much they mean to you or if you have had that special someone for a long time it is an opportunity to rekindle the flame or at least keep it from going out. There are a plethora of Hallmark cards, fancy boxes of candies, florists and jewelers that will be more than happy to make that day special if you have funds to purchase their products.
On the other side of the coin, it can also be a day of huge disappointment if someone that is or you thought was your special someone is not gushing over with such sentiments and makes little or no effort to make the day special after you have gone all out for it. You take take them out for a wonderful dinner and buy tickets to a concert by their favorite musician; they stop at the gas station on the way home and purchase a few lottery cards.
And with that, I will close with a helpful hint - it is never good to equate your romantic feelings towards your special someone to that of the lottery.

Sorry for the ugly hyperlinks - have been trying to troubleshoot Blogger all day as I have not been able to post and had to resort using the old version of Blogger editor.
