"Safe" Bedside Table

This is an all-in-one artistic functional table and urban home security that is for sale for $245.  Having lived briefly in a bad area of a big city in a small studio apartment, something like this would have been great to have.

It is by James McAdams and the prototype previously on display in the Museum of Modern Art NY, but now is being made for sale worldwide.  For additional information click here.
