Alien Autopsy Tissue Holder

Source: vvstore.jp via Kathryn on Pinterest

I spotted this wacky find on Inventor's Spot.   This alien is not just a plushy decoration, it serves a useful purpose in that his autopsied belly can hold a box of Kleenex.   It is a bit kitschy with his silvery pudgy body, but very cute and clever none the less.

You can even hang him on a wall as he has velcro on his hands.
He is for sale at by a Japanese company Village/Vangard for 1,890 yen (which would be $23.73 based on today's market), but I might have to try a DIY version to make for my son for Christmas as he is a huge X-Files fan.

10 Unique Items inspired by the "Alien" movies

One of the most disturbing moments in any movie I have ever seen is the "Chest Burster" scene from Ridley Scott's 1979 movie "Alien". As a tribute to that film, here is a round up of interesting "Alien" related finds.

I would never encourage anyone to smoke, but this Alien ashtray for sale at Themes Jewelry  for $38.99 + S and H could double as a candy dish or change holder.

Themes Jewelry has the above Alien vs. Predator ring for sale for $18.99 + S and H

This is a one-of-a-kind creation from DeviantArt user “Joker-laugh” and from the article indicated:
"The board itself measures 25 x 25 inch which makes it quite big for a chess set. It was made using wood and small tiles for the stone board. I made this to mimic the pyramid temple the Predators use in the AVP film."

Alien Heels

These one of a kind shoes are by the late designer Alexander McQueen and inspired by the alien of the "Alien" movies.   While they don't look practical for everyday wear or go dancing in, they would make an amazing fashion statement and conversation piece.
