High School Senior Phillip Sossou Creates Charcoal Portrait of His Graduating Class of 2016...all 411 of Them

From an article in the.Boston Globe, 18 year old Senior at Boston Latin High School Phillip Sossou wanted to create charcoal portraits of each of the graduating Senior in his class...all 411 of them.

From an interview ON KPHO that I saw, even his art teacher did not think it was possible. As amazing as that is, even more so, he created these portraits within a period of 4 months.

On the final day of classes, he and 6 of his friends posted the drawing throughout the school.

From the Boston Globe article he did this he did it as a gift to unite the Class and after allegations this year of racism at the school advised:  “Having these pictures helps us to embrace our diversity.”
