Giant Octopus Sculpture

Photo: Bartz Brother Snow Sculptures

Some young people waste away their Winter days playing video games, but these 3 brothers, Austin, Trevor and Connor Bartz have been making snow sculptures.

For the past five years the brother made different sea-related creatures (because they like to fish): A puffer fish, a walrus a sea turtle, a shark and this year, an octopus.

It took 500 hours to create and 150 tons of snow and this year they have teamed with One Day's Wages to raise money for clean drinking water in Haiti.  So far they have raised around $8,000 of their $10,000 goal.
