EARTH ART - NORTHERN LIGHTS

Here is a pic of the Aurora Borealis, also known as the Northern Lights taken at up in Northern Canada.

I did not know until I got the pics and started researching more about them as my son had inquired how the Earth formed them that the South Pole also has an Aurora of their own and it is called the Aurora Australis.

They are formed by charged particles from the the magnetic field of the earth, and it is strongest at both poles, colliding with charged particles from the Sun.
